How to Read Your Website Progress

At IndexWisely, our mission is to make search engine indexing not just fast, but transparent. You shouldn't need a computer science degree to understand how your website is performing on Google. That's why we built the Actionable Insights Dashboard.
When you log in, you're greeted with beautiful, easy-to-read charts that give you real-time feedback on your site's health. But what exactly do the numbers mean? Let's walk through it together.
Pages Indexed: You're Live!
The 'Indexed' metric is the one we all love to see. This number represents the pages on your website that Google has successfully found, read, and added to its massive library. When a page is marked as 'Indexed', it means people can actively find it when they search on Google.
Think of this as your collection of published books that are now sitting safely on the library shelf, ready to be discovered. The higher this number, the more of your hard work is actively working for you out in the world.
Pending: In The Waiting Room
If you see pages marked as 'Pending', don't panic! This is completely normal, especially right after you publish something new. 'Pending' simply means that IndexWisely has requested that Google look at these pages, but Google's robots just haven't finished scanning them yet.
It's like dropping a letter in the mailbox. You know it's on its way, but it hasn't reached its final destination. Thanks to our accelerated process, pages usually don't stay in the 'Pending' phase for very long before moving over to 'Indexed'.
Needs Attention: Let's Fix This
This is where the 'actionable' part of our dashboard comes in. Pages marked as 'Needs Attention' are those that Google has noticed, but something is stopping them from being fully indexed. This could be due to a broken link, a technical error on the page, or simply because Google thinks the page is a duplicate of another one.
Instead of leaving you to guess what went wrong, we highlight these pages so you know exactly where to focus your efforts. By fixing these specific issues, you ensure that none of your valuable content falls through the cracks.
Track Your Progress in Real-Time
Your dashboard isn't a static report; it's a live pulse of your website's indexing health. As you publish new content or fix issues, you can sit back and watch the charts update. With easy-to-read numbers and clear categories, you can finally stop worrying about the technical paperwork and focus on what you do best: creating great content.
