2. Data We Collect & How We Use It

Account Data: Email address and name (via Google/Bing OAuth) to create your account and communicate with you.

Search Engine Metadata: We access your Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools data to retrieve sitemap URLs and monitor the indexing status of your pages.

Usage Data: Basic logs (IP address, browser type) to ensure service security and performance.

3. Limited Use Disclosure

IndexWisely’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • No Human Reading: We do not allow our employees to read your search console data unless you give us specific permission for technical support.

  • No Data Selling: We do not sell your personal or search data to third parties.

4. Data Storage & Security

Tokens: We store OAuth "Refresh Tokens" in an encrypted format to maintain your connection. You can revoke this access at any time via your Google/Bing Security settings.

Encryption: All data transmitted between your site, IndexWisely, and the Search Engines is protected via SSL/TLS encryption.

Retention: We retain account data only as long as your subscription is active. If you delete your account, we purge all associated API tokens within 30 days.

5. Automated Decision-Making

IndexWisely uses automated logic to determine the optimal time to submit your URLs to search engines. These decisions are technical and do not "significantly affect your rights or interests" in a legal sense, but serve to improve the efficiency of your search presence (in accordance with Australian Law 2026).
